Modern and clean hotel. Rooms of a good size with plenty of storage spaces and nice high ceilings. All the staff had a very friendly and welcoming attitude which does make you feel welcome. After this very positive experience we will definitely be using Ace hotels again. Lots of dining establishments within a 20 minute walk.
Great experience this week whilst cycling in France with my friend. The lady on reception very kindly put our cycling kit on a much needed wash and then into the dryer which was extremely welcome on a long self supported trip and was above and beyond. Staff were all very friendly, rooms clean and great location for food.

Best overnight stop I’ve done in France for a long time. Proper air con, comfy beds, spacious rooms, lots of restaurants nearby and very convenient for the Ferry. Excellent price. Would 100% use again
Why 5 stars when it's not The Ritz? will perfect location for stop off on the way to La Rochelle, lots of places to eat nearby, very clean compared to a Premier Inn and €8.70 buffet breakfast great, pastries, breads,yoghurt, fruit, cereal, meats, cheese, coffee and orange juice
Very good night's sleep. Restaurants on other side of A11 are 10 minutes easy walk away. Will stay again when passing
Another good stop. We regularly use this hotel often en route between London and the Charante via the Channel Tunnel. A great place to stop not far off the A28 motorway (other motorways are available) with options for dining nearby. The …
